Our Story: How Blended Rituals Was Born

Blended Rituals Began with a Simple Need—Relief.

My husband and I met while working on cruise sips, where life at sea brought incredible experiences… but also some unexpected challenges. One of the biggest? The water onboard. It left our skin dry, irritated, and constantly itchy. For me, it often triggered flare-ups of eczema and sensitivity that I struggled to manage.

When we made the decision to step away from ship life and build something of our own back home, skincare was naturally at the forefront of our minds.

At the time, I had already started exploring more natural solutions and found myself reaching for a tallow-based product that helped calm my skin in a way nothing else had. That’s when everything clicked.

My husband, who grew up on a farm in Romania, shared that his grandmother had used beef tallow on his skin since he was a child. It wasn’t a trend to him—it was tradition. A simple, effective remedy passed down through generations.

That moment sparked something bigger.

From Tradition to Ritual

We began researching beef tallow skincare more deeply and were amazed by what we found. Rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, and incredibly compatible with our skin’s natural structure, tallow wasn’t just effective—it made sense.

We sourced grass-fed suet from a local ranch here in Texas and started rendering it ourselves in small batches, right at home. It was important to us to stay hands-on, intentional, and connected to every step of the process.
